Funny and Debate

So funny first: Last night walking around the huge park by the condo I had to laugh as about every 5 steps someone had placed goldfish crackers on the sidewalk. I have no idea why but it made me smile when I probably needed to smile.

DEBATE: My programmer and I have a difference of opinion - what is more personal - seeing someone naked or kissing them?

Yes.

Which is to day, either can be more personal, depending on the people, the circumstances, and the way the act is done (or perceived). I've had very impersonal kisses, and mindblowingly passionate ones. Similarly, I've seen different people naked, with a similar range or emotions.

Conventionally, one would say nakedenss. On the other hand, contact is nearly always more personal. Except when it's not.

For some reason, this has me thinking of the stereotypical Hollywood hooker with a heart of gold, who'll let her clients do anything they want to/with her, except kiss on the lips.

So I think kissing, especially in our increasingly rauchy society where we can see someone naked almost any day of the week.

Kissing

Since it involves being in an other persons personal space, and that person being in yours. (Greeting kisses excluded since that is just a step up from shaking hands).

Now, being *seen* Naked is another discussion all together.

When rating someone on a scale of "potential person to sleep with/not sleep with" I feel kissing to be more intimate. When not rating someone on that scale, nakedness is more intimate.

That is, kissing your auntie is a lot less intimate than seeing her naked would be!

Good question :)
